Executive Coaching in London
If you've reached a level of seniority where the technical part of the job is no longer the hard part, you already know the kind of leadership challenge I work with.
I'm engaged by London Business School as an executive coach and facilitator, and I work in person with senior leaders, C-suite executives and board members across London — as well as online with clients in New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, Madrid and beyond.
Most of my London clients come to me through referral, from a colleague, a board member, or another leader I've worked with. They tend to be technically excellent and well past proving their competence. What they're looking for isn't another framework or a tips-and-tricks toolkit — it's someone who can show them what's actually in the way of the next level, which is almost always relational rather than technical.
I call this radically human coaching. It combines depth psychology with real business and leadership experience, and it's built for people who want a coach with enough edge to tell them the truth, not just agree with them. As you become more senior, fewer people around you will do that.
How I work with London clients
I meet clients in person in London and combine that with the flexibility of working online, which matters if you're traveling, splitting time across offices, or simply prefer the focus that a video session brings. Most engagements run six to twelve months — long enough to work through a full cycle inside your organisation, not just a few sessions of surface-level advice.
My background spans coaching, counselling and twenty-three years of working with senior leaders across banking, the arts, politics and the charity sector. I'm a Senior Research Associate at the Intellectual Forum at Jesus College Cambridge, and I'm engaged by London Business School as an executive coach and facilitator. My work has been covered in the Guardian and the Times, where I was described as more wise friend than guru.
If you're a senior leader in London — or anywhere — and you've sensed that something is in the way of what you're capable of, I'd be glad to talk.
